Guided by expert florist The Suffolk Florist, you’ll create your very own luxury wreath using seasonal foliage, berries, and natural decorations – the perfect way to kick off the Christmas season. After the workshop, relax and indulge in our Festive Afternoon Tea, featuring a delicious selection of seasonal savouries, homemade scones, and Christmas-inspired sweet treats, all served with warming teas or a glass of fizz to toast the season. Whether you're coming with friends, family, or as a festive solo treat, it’s a wonderful way to celebrate the joy of Christmas in beautiful surroundings. Get ready to step into the buzzing world of beekeeping with our hands-on Beekeeping Experience Workshop & Afternoon Tea at Retreat East, set beside our very own beehives! This unforgettable session includes a warm welcome and safety briefing, followed by fascinating insights into bee biology, hive life, honey production, and their vital role in our ecosystem. You’ll suit up in protective gear, get up close with the hive, and learn how we harvest and use natural bee products. After your adventure, unwind with a delicious afternoon tea and take home a jar of our homegrown honey as a sweet souvenir. Please wear trousers and closed-toe shoes, avoid strong perfumes, and note that this activity isn't suitable for those with bee allergies. Let the bees inspire you!

Unwind in the peaceful surroundings of Retreat East’s wildflower-filled grounds as you reconnect with nature and yourself. Led by the wonderful Jannette Bloom, this uplifting outdoor session focuses on the connection between mind and body through mindful movement. Practising in the fresh open air, Jannette will guide you through yoga asana to enhance flexibility, strength, and balance, before moving into calming breathwork and powerful visualisation. With the sounds of nature all around, you’ll anchor through the breath, clear mental clutter, and cultivate inner calm, confidence, and focus. Afterwards, enjoy a nourishing one-course lunch with a soft drink. Please note: Sunday sessions include a one-course Sunday lunch instead. Meadow yoga is weather permitting, in case of rain this workshop will move indoors.
